Memory 2.0 Full version

Hello everyone.
Have you ever thought of how can we do things as we are doing them? How do we know what is right and wrong, good or bad, the right way or the wrong way to deal with situations? For example: How do we know that we shouldn’t touch the electric wires? Its because we remember what has been told us. The key to success and staying alive is our MEMORY. It is ability to remember and use the information when we need it.   I bet most of you have heard this quote.
The more you learn, the more you know,
The more you know, the more you forget
The more you forget, the less you know

I must admit I agree to this statement. Our memory is not limitless. Scientists say that we use only 10% of our brain however no one really knows how much can we remember. But what we do know is that we can always improve our memory.
Memory has been classified in 5 different sections depending on the importance and the way we get the information.

If we learn how to improve all of our senses we could do a lot more. For example: Have you ever gone out of your room for something and totally forgotten what did you need?  Have you ever tried to read something fast before tests, and then realize that you can’t remember a thing? Well luckily for those who agreed to both of these questions I can say that everyone can improve their memory. And remembering such things as birthdays, telephone numbers or things to do, will no more be difficult for you.

Hard to believe but after a short training (a really short) you will notice huge improvements.  If you give a list of 10 items and only 20sec. to look at it an average adult will only remember 7 things mentioned there.

When you will learn the technique I’m going to talk about, you will be able to easily remember a list of 15 things in the order you like at the same time.

I have made some experiments with people from age 12 till 20 to see if it really works so good.  All of them had the same list of items and the same amount of time, and before I reveled the tehnic they could remember about 7 items. No one could remember all 10.  But after a small training all of them could remember all 10 items mentioned in the list.

So the trick to remember a list of things is to imagine them as a story. It is hard to remember just names, but if they make a connection through a story then it is easy as a pie.
For example: you have a list of these items:
  1. Tire
  2. Apple
  3. Car
  4. Lemonade
  5. Monkey
  6. Lamp

So the story could be:  A tire was rolling down a hill and hit an apple tree, the tree was shaking and a yellow car fell off into huge lemonade pool, and there were a lot of pink noisy monkeys dancing around each holding a lamp.

So as you see this story makes no sense and that is good. Because more unbelievable it is the easier it will be to remember. You can also add some colors and sounds to your story to use all of your senses. And remember to make it as silly as you can.

This is only one way how to improve your memory. There are a lot of different ways how to do it, but they need some training and time. Another way how to train your memory is to try to remember the last party you where. Try to remember some details and write them down. What color dresses girls had, what jewelry, who was drinking beer, who had dirty boots. When you have written it all down just look at photos taken that day and compare if you remember correct. This also gives good results if you do it constantly.

So if you think you have bad memory now you know 2 different ways how to improve it and make it better. I really hope this information was useful and that is it. \
Thank you for your attention. :)
