Faith

I have met some persons that don’t have any faith in them at all and I have met persons that apparently have all the worlds’ faith in their heads that they will succeed. What is the thing that pops in our minds when we hear word “faith”.  I think that is a good, even a great quality a human can have. A quality every great person or leader has to have.

You know, not only leaders, but each of us has to have some faith in ourselves.
That would count as a great quality. If we believe we can succeed, if we believe that our idea is great then no matter how many rejections we receive we will still be able to succeed after all. I don’t know if it is true, but I read that J.K.Rolling was rejected a lot times before someone actually agreed to publish her books. Now her book series about wizard Harry Potter is a worldwide bestseller.  So we can agree that when you have faith. A great faith that your idea is great you can achieve astounding results.

Recently I had the pleasure to meet an interesting person. Unfortunately this person wasn’t a great one. To be true, it was myself. I had a dejavu. A flash back. A memory from my past.  A light bulb over my head. Call as you like it.

I noticed that I was and to be true still am a stubborn person. When I have an idea in my mind, a vision of how things should be managed, then you will need an army to change my mind.  I will think that I am right I will do as I intended to do it.

I am aware that this quality of mine is not a one to be proud of. I know that other people hate it as well as I do when I meat other stubborn persons.  But everything is not so bad after all. A lot of times, I am actually right, and my idea works fine. Most of the times when I made some things at home, the most common fraze I heard was: Stop doing that thing, it won’t work anyway. Waste of time.

But usually I didn’t stop. I kept on going no matter what. Of course those times when I actually failed to do something everyone was so pleased that they turned right after all, because they told me it won’t work. And what happened when I was right? I got congratulations, good words, they told about me to other persons, how great son, grandson, friend I am.

Here is a question to you. How does Faith differ from Stubbornness?
When I try to create thing I want. Am I stubborn because other people say it is stupid, or do I have a great faith in me that I will succeed? Was J.K.Rolling the most suborned person, because a lot of people told her it won’t work or she had faith in herself?

The way I see it know is. Faith is equal to Stubbornness.  When you try to do something again and again, and if you don’t succeed then you are stubborn. But at the moment you succeed, you somehow become a person that had faith in yourself. It just is a matter of perspective you look from.
