When there is nothing to write about.

I have had this feeling. I bet you too. When we want to write about something or we just need to, we just can’t think of anything good to write about. So we start to look around the room, like if we would find there something we haven’t already seen and magically will start to write a bestseller based on this object or thing.

Nahhh, miracles don’t happen. So what could you do? I started to play CandyCrush on Facebook. Yes I really stated to do it. It is the most dumb, unentertaining game I could possibly think of. With all the technology we have, with all the graphics we can make and experience I couldn’t resist not to play this game that basically was invented together with the first computer. Now they just call it different, gave some more colours, levels and twists and heiiij. We have a new addiction. Okey not we, but me.
I try to free myself from this addiction, so now every time I raise my hand over the mouse to turn on candycrash I immediately go away from facebook. Because what a waste of time it is. I know there are dozens of other also really unuseful things that I do, but I just don’t want this to be one of those things.

Instead I try to write. As you might have guessed it already, yes I just wanted to play CandyCrsuh so now I am writing this…..thing. And that leads to – what to write about when just no good ideas pop up?

Write about nothing. Write your thought as you are thinking. Because what you read actually are my thoughts at the moment. I have no idea, to what conclusion this will bring. I haven’t thought over anything of it. As you can see, just the idea that I need to write something already can be a story. A shitty one. Must admit it yes. I won’t get any awards for this masterpiece, but I am writing and that’s all that matters to me.
Next best thing to do is to edit yourself.  Because often we can read that our thoughts are kind of blurry, so the text is also blurry in some way. We won’t be able to understand what we have written some time from now if we won’t edit.  And this is a thing I make sins. I like to write but I rarely edit myself.

Ahhh I already know the conclusion to this. Next time I will want to write about something, but won’t have any “marvellous” idea, I will just read some of my old writings and edit them.  Have a nice time folks.
